Dave Lockie began his career as a potter when his four children were very young. While he threw pots in his shop in the backyard, the kids would be playing in the grass.

In September of 2002, Jennie and I returned from an art show in Boise, Idaho. We saw the 'For Sale' sign on the log house which is now the home of Mountain Arts Pottery and The Coffee Pot Bakery Café.
